NOVEMBER NEWS
Nov 13th: We take the bus back to Vancouver, officially ending the trip. We will spend a couple of days here before Aya returns to Japan and I head home to Ottawa. Thanks to all for reading!
Nov 9th: Luc Robitaille scores his 600th career goal and it holds up as Detroit beats Anaheim 1-0 in an entertaining hockey game.
Nov 7th: While Aya takes in the Diamondbacks Victory Parade, Sean checks out the final game of the trip, an 8-4 Grand Canyon victory over the Saguaros. No more baseball! What are we going to do? Watch some hockey in LA, of course.
Nov 5th: More history on our trip - we see the second combined no-hitter in Arizona Fall League History! Maryvale starter Jason Standridge goes 4 innings and two relievers complete the job as the Saguaros win 3-0 over the Mesa Solar Sox. A 7-inning no-hitter caps an incredible weekend.

Nov 4th: One of the best games in baseball history! Congratulations to the Arizona Diamondbacks on winning the World Series on Gonzo's 9th-inning single. The best game I will ever see becomes the highlight of the trip of a lifetime. Phoenix parties proudly as Arizona celebrates its first ever pro sports championship! It simply doesn't get any better than this!

Nov 3rd: A record-setting game as Arizona knocks out 22 hits to beat the Yankees 15-2 in game 6. Fantastic atmosphere at Bank One and a lot of fun. One more game to decide everything!

We also watched an Arizona Fall League game in the afternoon - Phoenix won that one as well!
Nov 2nd: We drive to Phoenix from Vegas and discover that more tickets are about to go on sale. We rush to line up at Bank One Ballpark, but we were too late - we resort to buying game 6 tickets from scalpers, which means we will be eating cheaply for the rest of the trip.
Nov 1st: Oh No!! The Diamondbacks put Game 6 and 7 tickets on sale early and we didn't know about it. Why did they change their selling dates? I don't know, but it has cost us the chance to see any World Series action at a reasonable price. Boo Diamondbacks!
