DRIVE 7 - Carson City to Lone Pine

US395 the whole way. Just south of Bridgeport there is Mono Lake. Make sure to stop at the viewpoint above the lake that affords one of more incredible views that we have seen. There is also a nice view of Mount Whitney from Lone Pine.  It was on US395 where we got our first warning, just north of Bridgeport.
