DRIVE 56 - Las Cruces to San Antonio

Just southeast of Las Cruces is Guadalupe National Park where we stopped for a short 90 minute hike. Very quiet - one of the lesser known parks in the country. Taking Texas Route 54 south from the park, we drove 55 miles and saw 5 cars - the loneliest stretch of highway we have been on. Once we hit I-10, it is just cruise through the Texas flatlands. Another long drive, but a great one.
