DRIVE 50 - Eureka to San Francisco

One of the most interesting drives of the trip. South of Eureka you will find the Avenue of the Giants, a 33-mile route that winds through towering redwood trees. After leaving this amazing road, you can get on US1 and test your driving skills on the curves and turns that are a lot of fun. Suddenly you find yourself back at the ocean and more stunning views.

Route 128 takes you through the heart of wine country before you rejoin US101 and the traffic that enters San Francisco over the grand Golden Gate bridge. In only a few hours you will see an entire week worth of sights!
