DRIVE 17 - Lincoln, NE to Osceola, IA

Take I-80 into Omaha, and the the I-480 south where it becomes US75. Turn into Plattesmouth where you can pick up US34 East. Cross the Missouri river over Plattesmouth Bridge, which carries a $1.25 toll, but affords you a realization of how the Missouri has shaped the landscape. From a small hill just before the bridge, you can see Iowa's flatness for miles, totally different from the rolling hills in this area of Nebraska.
