DESCRIPTION BALLPARK GAME RECAP

BATTLE CREEK, MICHIGAN

Battle Creek is located about two hours west of Detroit, right off I-94 which continues on to Chicago. Battle Creek is known as the cereal capital of the world as it is home to Kellogg Co, the maker of Corn Flakes and countless other breakfast cereals. One of the main tourist attractions is Cereal City USA, a museum and tour devoted to the history and production of cereal, but it is not free and thus we didn't go on the tour. We did stop in to take a picture, but that's about it.

Tony the Tiger greets all visitors at Cereal City

There wasn't much in the downtown area of the city, we drove around a bit but didn't see anything intriguing. We believe there are other things to do in Battle Creek, including the Binder Park Zoo south of the city, but we didn't have much time, so we just went to the game.
