DESCRIPTION BALLPARK GAME RECAP

TULSA, OKLAHOMA

Tulsa is located in the northeast corner of Oklahoma, about 100 miles from Oklahoma City. Tulsa is a very unremarkable city, as we found nothing to do other than go to the baseball game. Having said that, I thought that Tulsa drivers were the worst we have seen - as we drove in to the city, the traffic report on the radio indicated a number of accidents throughout the city. The next day, we saw an accident, and were cut off twice. I wonder where everyone is hurrying to? Interestingly, Tulsa was the first city to use the yield sign, so I guess that indicates bad driving has a history in Tulsa. I did some research into my suspicions but couldn't find anything to prove myself right or wrong. If anyone knows which city has the most per capita accidents in the nation, please let us know.

By the way, the day that we left Tulsa was declared an ozone-alert day, which means that all bus rides are free on that day. This is a good way to get drivers out of their cars, but it didn't seem to work as the streets were still relatively busy.

Finally, we did see a ballgame, so please read about that by clicking the links above.
