DESCRIPTION BALLPARK GAME RECAP

READING, PENNSYLVANIA

Reading is located about two hours northwest of Philadelphia, Founded in 1748 by the sons of William Penn, it is named for the family's ancestral home in England. Penn Square is now at the center of the city, which does possess a number of interesting historical buildings. Of course, Reading is also known as the home of a rather famous railroad, as any Monopoly player will attest.

These days, however, Reading claims to be the outlet capital of the world. I had no desire to investigate this boast, if one can call it that, and instead drove around the city. There really isn't a lot to do or see in Reading, so we decided to head on over to the stadium and check out a ballgame. Click on the links above to find out what we thought.
