NEW YORK- WHERE TO EAT

Again, our recommendations should not be a guide here. We can safely say that there isn't anywhere to eat close to Shea, and we didn't try any of the sports bars around Yankee Stadium, but why would you. With so many world class restaurants in Manhattan, you should have no trouble finding a good place to grab a bite. Soho, Tribeca, and Little Italy are well-known for their eateries, while Midtown is a bit more upscale, but for the true New York Experience, try one of the many delis around town - great sandwiches at good prices will fill you up and allow you to avoid those unnecessary hot dogs at the game.
