CINCINNATI - QUEEN CITY
Cincinnati is located in southwestern Ohio, right on the north shore of the Ohio River across from Kentucky. Winston Churchill referred to it as America's most beautiful inland city, and its location has a lot to do with this. Cincinnati has aged nicely, and the historical elements of the city have been retained very well in downtown. The hub of the city is Fountain Square, which has the Tyler Davidson Fountain as its centerpiece. There are a number of attractions on the outskirts as well, including The Museum Center at Union Terminal and the Cincinnati Art Museum in Eden's Park.
Downtown
Cincinnati
For sports fans, Cincinnati has a lot more than just baseball. It is home to the NFL's Bengals, who play in Paul Brown Stadium, next to the Riverfront and beside Cinergy Field. Cincinnati also hosts two minor-league hockey teams, the IHL's Cyclones and the AHL's Mighty Ducks. The Cincinnati Stuff play in the International Basketball League.
Our impressions: Cincinnati is small and very easy to get around. The downtown area is not that large, and one can easily walk to the major sights in a day. However, some of the more interesting attractions are outside the downtown core and require use of a car. Parking is plentiful in downtown, and reasonable, so using a car is not really a problem.
The Riverfront area is undergoing a lot of construction - it may be better to drive across the river and walk along the Kentucky side.

The weather seemed variable, with rain alternating with sunny periods, but we were only there for 3 days, so take it for what it's worth.
We enjoyed the Taste of Cincinnati Festival and it seems like the city is host to a number of excellent restaurants, reason enough to visit.
Overall, Cincinnati is a nice city to visit for a weekend. Check before you go to see if there are any festivals going on in the area, as Cincinnati is host to a large number of interesting events throughout the year.
