KANSAS CITY- WHERE TO EAT

The stadium is outside of the city and there isn't anywhere good to eat around there, so the best thing to do is find something downtown before heading out to the game.

There are two areas that have a large concentration of restaurants to suit all tastes. The first is the Crown Center, located at 2450 Grand Avenue. There are a number of fast food places as well as some normal restaurants. We enjoyed Kabuki, a Japanese place just inside the main entrance. Good noodle and tempura dishes and fried chicken as an appetizer are our recommendations.

Country Club Plaza, located at 47th St and Broadway is a great place for choice of eateries. About 10 square blocks of shops and restaurants greet you - pick up a guide and then decide where to eat. One of the more popular selections is KC Masterpiece Barbecue and Grill where the baby back ribs are famous.
