MINOR LEAGUE STADIUM RANKINGS
We only saw 36 or so minor league parks, and we are not going to rank them all because there are over 200 parks currently in use. We will list the best 3 and worst 3 that we saw however.
THE TOP 3
Would love to go back to these places.
1.
Louisville
Slugger Field -
Louisville RiverBats, Louisville, KY.
A great new
stadium with good food and a nice view of the river.
2. Franklin
Covey Field -
Salt Lake Stingers, Salt Lake City, UT. Great views
of the mountains and easy to get to on transit.
3.
Southwestern
Bell Bricktown Ballpark - Oklahoma
City Redhawks, Oklahoma City, OK. The long name is
the only negative on this new park - good restaurant here as well.
THE WORST 3
Out of all the parks we saw, there were only 3 that I didn't enjoy. Here they are:
1.
Applebees
Park -
Lexington Legends, Lexington , KY.
Too expensive for A ball, this park forgets what minor league baseball is about.
Even the name is stupid, it should be called Legends Field.
2. Prince
George's Stadium -
Bowie Baysox, Bowie, MD. Again too expensive and
the dumbest fans that we saw. $8 GA seats have no back, which leaves you
sore.
3.
Riverview
Stadium - Clinton
Lumberkings, Clinton, IA. The roof makes the
stadium too dark and the seats are too cramped.
